5 must have summer shoes for women 2024

Nothing expands a wardrobe, especially in summer, like a collection of versatile shoes. Today, I’m sharing 5 of my favorites with in-depth descriptions, pricing and links for you to shop. Best of all? Nothing is priced over $34.99. Let’s get to it!

1). A New Day Stacy Clear Mule Heel from Target - $34.99.

This shoe is so elegant, the clear straps across the front of the foot and the nude base ensure that you can wear these with every color.

The block heel is not so high that you will be unsteady, while still giving you some height. With shorts or a skirt, these give the appearance of a super long leg.

I bought a similar version of these last summer and they are easily my most worn heel during the summer months!

A very versatile heel for only $34.99 - what are you waiting for?

2). Time & True Women’s String Bow Ballet Flats - $12.98

Ballet flats are back, and pops of red have been trending since spring. These would be a great choice for your 4th of July outfit - comfortable and colorful!

If red isn’t your thing, no worries! These flats are available in 8 colorways - and at this price, you can buy two pairs and still spend less that one usually does for one pair of shoes! What other color will you pick?

3). A New Day Maddison Sneakers with memory foam from Target - $29.99

These are THE BEST sneakers I have ever purchased for travel wear. I bought these in early 2022, wore them on a nine day trip to Italy in late May/early June. I continued to wear them at home, then wore them again for a trip to Greece last year.

On both trips, we walked a ton, as one does in these locations. In Greece, the soles got extremely dirty and I thought I may have to toss them and get another pair, but I decided to try to wash them. I put them in my washing machine with a load of whites on normal cycle with a little bleach, and they came out looking brand new! I dried them by laying them upside down on an AC vent in my house, and they are literally as good as new.

They have minimal signs of wear, and after washing they are bright white again. I will take these with me anytime we travel again in the future. Keep in mind, I wear them here at home too - they are the perfect sneaker to wear with dresses and I find the solid white to be incredibly versatile.

4). A New Day Nat Slide Sandals from Target - $24.99

These slides are available in two colors, black that says, “CAPRI” and an off-white that says, “ST. TROPEZ”. These are well made, comfortable, perfect for summer and at a great price point.

5) Universal Thread Devin Two Band Footbed Sandals from Target: $24.99

Our favorite summer slip on’s got dressed up, y’all! I have these in silver and they have been my go-to sandal all summer.

I even wear these with cotton dresses because I feel like the silver is a little elevated above the other three basic leather colors these are available in.

If you are like me and you can’t bring yourself to pay for the brand name version, you will love these!

If you don’t have a footbed sandal in your shoe arsenal yet, this would be a great time to try one out - they are SO comfortable!
