Creating a gift guide for the ladies was much easier than coming up with things for the men. Basically, I am sharing things that I love and think other ladies will too! Here are ELEVEN of my top gifts for ladies this year…
1) Every Moment Holy Volumes 1, 2 or 3:
These books have become beloved items to me. I often reference these when praying for friends, to consider how someone else would pray for that particular situation. I especially love the idea of liturgies for everyday situations such as doing laundry, or the first hearth fire of the season in your home. There are also Holiday liturgies, such as setting up a Christmas Tree or to mark the start of the Christmas Season. Perhaps the most often used favorite of mine is the liturgy for “before serving others.” I like to reference this before serving at my church to get my mind right. There are now three volumes of these liturgies and they cover a very wide array of life situations. When I don’t know how to pray, this is my go-to “guide”. I hope you enjoy these too! $20.49 at Amazon.
2) Nordic Ware Holiday Pans: For the one who loves to bake, these pans take a cake to the next level! While I love them all, I think the Gingerbread House $38) and the Christmas Wreath ($32.99) are my favorites!
Pro Tip: A little bird told me that the Gingerbread House or Christmas Wreath fit perfectly on this round cutting board. Imagine showing up to the family Christmas dinner with a cake like one of these!
3) Memonto Keepsake Journal by Gretchen Rubin and the Happiness Project:
Scrapbooking looks a lot different than it did twenty years ago. I managed to scrapbook my son’s first three years of life before time got away with me. He is now 22 years old, so to say that I am behind is an understatement!
Now I am intimidated to try again because the digital nature of memory keeping is overwhelming to me.
When I saw this new journal from one of my favorite authors, Gretchen Rubin, I knew this could be an option for me.
Maybe it could be for yourself or someone you know as well? I would be thrilled to receive this as a gift, how thoughtful, right?
*I am not being compensated for this recommendation to the Memento Keepsake Journal, I just love the format and wanted to share!
4) Laneige Gift Set: A couple of years ago, I was influenced to try Laniege lip sleeping mask by a blogger I follow. I’m so glad I tried it and now I am SOLD! A while ago, I snagged a deal on a gift set with sample sizes of the lip sleeping mask along with some skincare products I have enjoyed trying. This is a great deal on some minis that you may consider trying, but be warned - you will fall in love with the lip sleeping mask for sure!
5) Satin Floral Print Robe: I purchased this robe for myself last September with some birthday money and I absolutely love it. It comes in the most beautiful variety of colors and large floral print. These are one size fits most and at a great price point for a gift - some colors available at $24.99.
6) Our Place Always Pan: When a blogger that I respect and trust kept talking about this pan, I reconsidered the price and I’m so glad I did! Santa Corkey got me this for Christmas last year and it is the most used pan in my kitchen! I use it almost everyday and it still looks brand new.
Crafted without PTFEs, PFOAs, other PFAS, as well as other potentially toxic materials like lead and cadmium, ensuring safer and healthier meals for you and your family.
This 10.5-inch pan excels at braising, searing, steaming, sautéing, frying, boiling, baking, serving, and storing. It is oven safe and comes with a steam basket, lid and spoon. $105 retail, which is 30% off at Amazon.
7) Shark Flex Air Styler: Just when you thought all hair dryers were basically the same, here comes the Shark Flex Air Styler. This was my splurge gift from Corkey last year and I never dreamed I would love a hair styler like this! I rarely use a flat iron or curling iron anymore and my hair is in great shape due to less heat. Twice now I’ve been asked if I just got a blowout at the salon, when all I did was use this styler. Worth every penny at $297.48!
8) Eye Massager: If you are prone to migraines or sinus pressure, you will LOVE this massage mask. I also use this at night when I am anxious or tense and suspect that I will have trouble falling asleep. Instant relaxation and relief!
9) Upon Waking Devotional by Jackie Hill Perry: This is my current devotional and it is so much more than I expected. Jackie Hill Perry has a way of making you think, long after you have read her words. Through this book, the character of God has been illuminated for me in new ways. It is obvious that Jackie has recorded her deepest thoughts on faith to share with us, and I am so grateful for it. This would make a great gift for any woman of faith.
10). Katie Kime Pajamas: When I first saw these pajamas, I think I gasped out loud! If you are a Southern girl like me, you will love this brand that has created incredible designs on more than just pajamas. Including toile icons from southern cities like Atlanta, Charleston, Nashville, San Antonio, Marfa, Fort Worth, Houston and Dallas you can pay tribute to your home town every night! If you are north of the Mason Dixon line, don’t worry, the Hamptons, New York City, Chicago and more are available too!
If the pajamas don’t reel you in, check out their home decor as well. You can choose from a tea towel set, lucite tray, ice bucket, wallpaper or wall art. Oh - also take a look at their beautiful holiday patterns. I love the nutcracker tea towel set!
*I am not being compensated for this recommendation to Katie Kime, I just love the brand and wanted to share!
11)Naturium Icons Serums Starter Skincare Gift Set: This is a DEAL for only $20! Whenever possible, I like to try a new skincare product by purchasing a mini size before I invest in a full size product. I have several products in the Naturium line and they are excellent products at a great price. This set would be a great way to try out three of their top sellers.
Order by date recommendations:
Every retailer is different, but most of the larger companies recommend ordering by December 15, (Friday) with some still shipping by Christmas for orders placed up to December 18 (Monday). Amazon may be the exception, with some items available for shipping by Christmas when ordered by December 23, which is next Saturday. I don’t think I would push it that far, but hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
