Hammer Fist Multi Tool Giveaway

I first learned about the Hammer Fist multi tool when I attended the HAVEN Conference in Atlanta this past summer.  I was fortunate enough to receive a Hammer Fist multi tool as a gift at the conference.  When I came home at the end of the day, Corkey immediately grabbed the Hammer Fist and walked out on our back deck to hammer in some nails that had popped up over time. I knew then that this would be a welcome addition to our tool cabinet!

A week before the conference, we had installed some drapery over an arbor at a wedding that I had also provided floral designs for.  I immediately thought about how handy the tool would have been for the drapery installation.  I knew we would be installing drapery for another wedding in November, so I made sure to pack the Hammer Fist for that job, which we just did this weekend.  We took some photos of that installation that I will share here.  The Hammer Fist was the perfect tool for the job!

In addition to installing drapery, we installed a large flower arrangement on top of the arbor.  We used the Hammer Fist to nail in pushpins and thumbtacks on the drapery, then we used it to hammer in nails to anchor the wire to that held the flower arrangements.  Later when we took everything down, we used the Hammer Fist AGAIN to remove all the nails, thumb tacks and pushpins.  We always work hard to leave a venue like we found it, so the Hammer Fist helped us ensure that the arbor was returned to the same status we found it in.

The final result: Kinship & Vine installed drapery and floral designs on an arbor using the Hammer Fist Multi-Tool.

With Christmas right around the corner, you may be looking for gifts for the men in your life.  Hammer Fist would be an AWESOME gift for that hard to shop for man in your life, such as your husband, father, grandfather, son or even co-workers. It is a 7 in one multi-tool with the following features:

 1)    Non-Marring Mallet – I used this feature all summer long to hammer in stakes I used in the garden.  Corkey likes to use the mallet side to hammer paint can lids back in place.

2)    There are three strike plates, a 45 degree strike plate, a front strike plate and a main strike plate, allowing you to get the best grip for the job.

3)    Dual nail pulls – to me this tool is handier than a traditional hammer to pull out nails, and the mallet end of the tool ensures that I don’t scratch up walls or surfaces when I pull out nails.

4)    1/4 inch hex drive – if you have purchased anything from IKEA lately, you know the hex tool is used to assemble so many things now.  The Hammer Fist will allow you to turn any type of screw or bolt.

5)    Built in ruler – The Hammer Fist has both SAE (Standard American English) and metric rulers molded into the design for quick measurements.

6)    90 degree square – using the two strike plates, you can quickly check to see if your measurements are square.

7)    And last but certainly not least, you can use the bottle opener to open the beverage of your choice.
